Requirement
HTS tentiQ Industrial Buildings were approached by the Illinois University College for a temporary structure when their existing gym and dance studio had been donated to the Indianapolis Colts for indoor practice. Although a very prestigious and generous donation, it did leave the college without any gym or dance space.
Key to their needs was quality and speed; the new temporary studio had to be designed, manufactured, delivered and installed within ten weeks, but it needed to have the same quality, features and functionality of a permanent structure. Testing HTS tentiQ Industrial Buildings even further, the structure was to be constructed onto an unlevel site.
Solution
The client was provided with a temporary structure 20.00m wide by 32.00m long and with a 3.20m wall height.
The structure had insulated hard wall panels, a cassette flooring system suitable for dance and gym activity, hallways, entrances and three dedicated dance studios. Despite the temporary nature of the studio it was engineered to be used on a permanent basis and came fully insulated with HVAC and electrics to ensure the right temperature for the students.
Benefit
HTS tentiQ Industrial Buildings met the fast lead-time and complex build requirements on uneven ground with ease, ensuring the University College had a fully insulated custom-built semi-permanent structure within just ten weeks.
