A famous winegrower of Pauillac in France needed a relocatable temporary building to help with a large renovation project of the estate’s technical facilities. The two year project was to focus on three key areas; a new area to receive the harvest, the fermentation cellar and a new large cellar that could accommodate two vintages at once.
To help keep the operation running at full strength while the project was underway, a relocatable temporary building was needed for the two year project period and a further 12 months; giving the client time to decide on a new permanent building.
The strong relationship HTS INDUSTRIAL already had with the client combined with the flexibility and suitability of the proposed building and the capacity to work within the tight project scheduling meant the client had no hesitation in opting to rent a relocatable temporary building from HTS INDUSTRIAL for the required 36 month period.
The ability to easily and quickly dismantle and remove the building with minimal impact to the existing surface was also a critical factor.
The assembly was carried out in two stages. In January, the framework was mounted on a concrete slab and the tanks were then progressively installed. Once all the internal technical equipment was in place, the wall and roof cladding, plus access doors were added at the beginning of March.
Due to a large vertical drop at the base of the concrete slab and the impossibility of direct access a telescopic boom lift was used for much of the build process.
