Storage Building for Packaging Consolidates Storage Under One Roof
L-SERIES Temporary Storage Building
Single Skin Roof System
A leading global supplier of rigid plastic packaging came to HTS tentiQ Industrial Buildings looking for a temporary storage building when they were running out of space due to ongoing growth and expansion. Having previously used off-site storage the company wanted to consolidate all their storage under one roof and needed a quick and economical solution that didn’t compromise on quality or durability.
After several meetings with HTS tentiQ Industrial Buildings’s Technical Sales Manager the customer was recommended a number of options, including the choice of a hire or purchase contract. The storage building supplied was 15.00m wide by 55.00m long and had an eave height of 5.20m.
For vehicle and pedestrian access two roller shutter doors and three pedestrian doors were included. The structure also had an external gutter system and downpipes installed.
As with all temporary storage buildings from HTS tentiQ Industrial Buildings the structure was manufactured to order by the German based manufacturing centre, one of the most technically advanced of its kind in Europe.
Once installed the customer was able to consolidate all their storage on-site, making the operation more efficient and significantly reducing transport and fuel costs.
The customer also benefited from having a building that was suitable for long-term use but could be installed quickly and economically. In-fact, they have been so impressed with the outcome that they are now enquiring about a second building on the same site.
HTS tentiQ buildings are often used to avoid using off-site storage due to a lack of space on site or to cancel off-site storage arrangements and bring all storage back under one roof. Many businesses find this is not only the most economical option in terms of fuel and transport time but it also keeps the operation much more efficient. A greater level of stock traceability can often be achieved and customer lead times can be kept tight and consistent.
